Tears and Prayers for Victims of Connecticut School Shooting

We continue to follow developments out of Newtown, CT, scene of one of the country's worst mass shootings ever. The nation mourns the loss of the twenty children and six adults, killed by a 20 year old man who police say then took his own life.  We'll tell you what we are learning about that man, Adam Lanza and what police are saying about may have caused him to commit such an unthinkable act.

How Secure Is Your Child's School

Parents everywhere, including here in the Valley, are asking questions about school safety in the wake of that shooting.  Tonight News Leader 9's Curtis McCloud looks at what measures are in place in Muscogee County and what additional steps may be added to beef up security in city schools.

    16-year-old Raven Little-White died in August, after a boating accident on Lake Waccamaw. The medical examiner’s report lists “drowning” as the probable cause of death, but a toxicology report that came back later revealed Raven had actually succumbed to carbon monoxide poisoning.
