HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

A man shot in the head in the head in the parking lot of the Madison Gardens apartment has died.

Jarrod Lockett was found December 4 in the parking lot of the Madison Garden apartments on Old Madison Pike with gunshot wounds to the head and hand. He was transported to Huntsville Hospital.

Witnesses said they saw one or two people running from the scene shortly after they heard the gunshots.

No arrests have been made.

Lockett was set to graduate from UAH Saturday. His brother accepted his diploma.

Funeral arrangements have not yet been set.
