Local middle school supports Sandy Hook shooting victims

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - One Columbus school is taking the initiative and doing what they can to help the Sandy Hook victims in Connecticut.

On Thursday, Arnold Magnet Academy students will be wearing green and white, which are Sandy Hook's school colors.

Each student is encouraged to bring one dollar with them to class.

The halls will be decorated with the names of the students that donated, and at the end of the day the money will be collected and sent to a Sandy Hook support fund.
