News Leader 9 has learned three burglaries have happened within a few miles of each other in Opelika.
The first one took place at Hanson Court on Tuesday followed by one at Toomer's Court later that afternoon.
The third incident happened Wednesday on Dunwall Avenue.
In each of the first two cases the doors were kicked in and wrapped presents were taken from under the tree totaling thousands of dollars.
In the most recent burglary the victim reported someone forcibly entered her home and stole two flat screen TVs and a fur coat.
Police say they are still investigating each case.
