COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

It's your last chance to give a deserving pet from Columbus Animal Care and Control a home for the holidays.

TAG 307 is a sweet-natured cat with a loving disposition who loves to be held. Share your love with this gentle Domestic Short Hair today.

This female Domestic Short Hair is playful and coy. She is funny with a bright personality. She'll be a wonderful Christmas addition to your family.

This big guy is sure to put a forever smile on your face. He is full of spirit and will bring you many years of happiness and unconditional love.

TAG 362 is a female Cocker Spaniel. She's timid but will blossom when shown love and care. She will surely look cute under your tree this Christmas.

These innocent animals deserve loving families and forever homes. Give them the gift of a lifetime: a second chance.

This holiday, we'll take a moment to reflect on the animals that were not rescued from Animal Control. The 2nd Annual Candlelight Vigil will honor over 4,000 pets whose lives ended in the facility during 2012.

The gathering will be next Saturday evening at Columbus Animal Care and Control from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. There will be live entertainment, and a moment of silence. All are invited to attend.
