FLOWERY BRANCH, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

The Atlanta Falcons playoff tickets went on sale to the general public Thursday at 10 a.m.

The Falcons clinched home field advantage throughout the playoffs, a first round bye, and will be in action at the Georgia Dome during the NFC Divisional Playoff weekend (Jan. 12 or 13).

Since 2008, the Falcons are 33-5 at home and are 7-0 at the Georgia Dome this season.

Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster.com, at all Ticketmaster locations, or by calling Ticketmaster at 1-800-745-3000. Single-game playoff tickets for the Divisional playoff game start at $65 and there will be an eight ticket limit per person.

Under Head Coach Mike Smith, the Falcons have won two division titles and reached the playoffs in four of the last five seasons. Atlanta sits atop the NFL with a 13-2 record, marking the third straight season that the club has posted 10-or-more wins.

Three of the Falcons players were picked for this year's Pro Bowl team.

Quarterback Matt Ryan, tight end Tony Gonzalez and wide receiver Julio Jones were all selected for the January 27 All-Star Game in Hawaii.

But if the Falcons have a good post season, they won't be going.

The two teams in the Super Bowl don't send players to the Pro Bowl.
