COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

Columbus police say that there were two different shootings at the Majestic Sports Bar on Jan. 1 and one suspect has been identified.

One of the shootings took place in the parking lot.

Corey Taylor, age 18, was shot in the back of the head and upper back while sitting in a car outside of the bar. Tucker was taken to the Medical Center where he was treated and released.

Police have identified a suspect in Taylor's shooting, noting that he has not been implicated in the shooting inside the club that left Charles Foster dead and wounded 5 others.

Dequandrea Artavis Truitt, age 21, is wanted for aggravated assault for shooting Taylor. He is considered armed and very dangerous. Do not approach him.

Investigators have determined two guns were fired inside the club. They believe Truitt was a shooter inside the club as well as a second suspect. They are still looking for a second shooter.

Further investigation has connected the two shootings on New Year's night. The new information was found by further witness interviews and some physical evidence. The substance of the interviews and the physical evidence cannot be released at this time.

With this new information, an additional warrant for the charge of murder has been issued for  Truitt.

Phenix City Police Department also has a warrant on Truitt for criminal attempt murder.

Truitt is 5 foot 5 inches tall and weighs 165 pounds. He also has a slight scar below his left eye on the cheekbone.

Anyone with information on this suspect or the shootings at the Majestic Sports Bar is asked to call Robbery/Homicide in Columbus at (706) 653-3400, 911 or crime stoppers in Columbus and (334) 448-2806 at the Phenix City Police Department.
