(WTVM) -

It's a big day here at WTVM as we launch a new promotion that will benefit local non-profit organizations.

It's a year-long campaign we are calling "Give 9" in partnership with sponsor Headquarter Nissan.

Each quarter, a charitable organization will be awarded a $5,000 check to continue their good work in the community.

"When you make a commitment it's not about selling at that point, it's about what you want to be involved in," said Terry Bell, owner of Headquarter Nissan. "And we want to get our employees off the sidelines, other businesses and when you start giving back it makes your community a better place."

To nominate a non-profit group just click on the Give 9 link on our website.

The organization with the most nominations during that quarter will win – it's that's simple.

Do your part to help us give back to those who are always giving to others.
