Survalent Technology Commissions New SCADA System Innisfil Hydro, Ontario

Survalent Technology, the most trusted provider of smart grid solutions for the control room, announced today that it has commissioned a new Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system for Innisfil Hydro, Ontario.

Innisfil Hydro operates nine substations, each with an incoming voltage of 44,000 volts. There are over 525 kilometers of high voltage lines under the company's jurisdiction, covering the 290 square kilometer service area.

The new system features Survalent’s highly available, open-architecture system based on Windows Server 2008. It includes several of Survalent's open system applications, including: WorldView, SCADA Explorer, IED Wizard and Control Panel, Event Data Recording, Operations and Outages Accounting, SCADA Add-In, Remote Alarm Annunciation, System Configuration Status, and SmartVU
