Hometown hero heading to Inaugural Parade

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

The city of Columbus will be represented in great fashion during this year's presidential inauguration in Washington DC.

Technical Sergeant Christopher H. Brown will be high stepping alongside members of the U.S. Air Force band and Honor Guard in the 2013 Inaugural Parade on January 21.

Brown plays the French horn with "Ceremonial Brass," the U.S. Air Force Band's all-brass and percussion ensemble.

He studied at the University of Georgia in Athens, earning a bachelor of music degree in education and a master of music degree in performance.

The 80-person honor guard will march along the one-and-a-half mile route that goes past the White House.
