Residents Speak Out About City's Latest Murder

As Columbus Police investigate the city's second murder of the new year, residents of Carver Heights - where Brenda Lowe was killed - are defending their neighborhood.  They tell News Leader 9's Curtis McCloud, they're hoping this tragic murder will be solved quickly and that it will not reflect negatively on their rebuilding community.

New Tonight at 11!  A shooting at BTW Housing Complex in Columbus sends one man to the hospital.  Tonight police are searching for the gunman and the victim. We'll tell you why.

Courthouse Facelift

Lee County's Courthouse needs a major makeover to keep up with the growing demands of a growing community.  News Leader 9's Annie Hubbell takes a look at the changes underway to help keep the historic landmark in downtown Opelika.
