PHOENIX (AP) -

Jurors in the Arizona trial of a woman charged in the stabbing and shooting death of her lover watched a videotaped interrogation in which she insists she didn't kill the man.

Jodi Arias tells a detective after her arrest in the June 2008 killing of Travis Alexander that even if she did kill him, she couldn't have stabbed him. Arias says on the video that she would have shot him to kill him as quickly as possible. Her trial is under way in Phoenix.

Authorities say she stabbed and slashed Alexander nearly 30 times and shot him in the head around June 4, 2008, at his Mesa home. His body was found five days later in his shower. Arias now says she killed him in self-defense after he attacked her.
