LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

You broke up and several gallons of Häagen-Dazs later, you moved on.

Do you need your ex's Laura Nyro records? No, you don't. How about that sweater you never wore or the Blu-ray collector's edition of The Blue Lagoon? You don't need those either.

From now until Feb. 14, Goodwill of Southern Nevada is encouraging you to "Dump Your X's Stuff" during its anti-Valentine's Day drive.

Simply gather up the items your ex-boyfriend, girlfriend or spouse left at your home and bring them to one of Goodwill's more than 40 donation centers throughout the valley.

This is your chance to turn those bitter, hateful feelings into something positive. Goodwill will sell the items to fund job placement programs throughout southern Nevada.

All items donated must be the sole property of the donor. Don't donate something your ex may come looking for.

For a donation center near you, visit www.sngoodwill.org.
