GLENDALE, AZ (CBS5) -
Multiple reports are surfacing that the Phoenix Coyotes deal with Greg Jamison won't go through as planned.
The city of Glendale gave Jamison until Thursday to complete the purchase of the team from the NHL, keeping them in the west Valley.
Then the city would pay him to run the arena.
Jamison's role in any purchase agreement with the league or lease agreement with the city of Glendale will be at an end once Thursday's deadline passes, ESPN.com reported.
A separate group of investors is prepared to step into the void, reports said.
