LEESBURG, GA (WALB) -
This time last year many in baseball were wondering if San Francisco Giants catcher Buster Posey would be able to come back from a season ending leg injury in 2011.
This winter, the question around baseball is just what all the 2012 National League Most Valuable Player can accomplish by the time he hangs up his spikes.
Buster Posey will soon be heading west for the start of spring training for the World Series champion San Francisco Giants..
Buster says he and the family have enjoyed the time at home and as well as his trip to New York to receive his MVP award and meet former Yankee great Yogi Berra.
Those who know Posey know he has also spent a good deal of time this winter training hard for the 2013 season.
Even with winning a World Series, MVP award and batting title, Buster Posey is always working to be the best player he can for his team.
"It is something you can work on now by yourself. Then when you get out in spring training and bounce some of the stuff your ideas off of your staff out there. Come up with a good game plan so that you are ready to go on opening day," said Giants catcher Buster Posey.
The Giants pitchers camp begins on February 13 in Phoenix, Arizona.
