ALBANY, GA -

The Albany St. basketball teams fed off a packed crowd at the HPER Gym an ended the night in a split with conference foe Fort Valley St.  The Rams started off hot but was quickly cooled by a hungry Fort Valley St. team who ended ASU's three game win streak with  60-52 win.  ASU falls to 5-12 overall and 4-7 in the SIAC.  Rams will play at Morehouse on Monday.

Meanwhile, the Lady Rams fought back and forth with the Lady Wildcats and pulled out a 74-64 victory.  ASU was sparked by Danielle Colson who exploded for 18 points, most in the second half.  April Thomas added 14 points.  The Lady Rams are now 8-10 overall, 6-5 in the SIAC and will host Benedict next Thursday.
