ETX woman arrested for theft after being located by Onstar

LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) -

An East Texas woman is arrested for auto theft, after being located by Onstar.

Longview Police arrested 23-year-old Kyleigha Scott of Hallsville at a Walgreens in the 500-block of Marhsall avenue on Thursday night.

Investigators say she broke into a house and stole a car and a purse. The stolen car's Onstar helped officers locate the vehicle. Police said Scott had credit cards of numerous people as well as numerous Texas driver's licenses.

Scott was charged with theft of property, and counts of debit/credit card abuse. She's being held on more than $27,000  in bonds.
