ATLANTA, GA (WALB) -

Linebacker Reuben Foster announced Monday night  he plans to sign with Alabama on Wednesday.

Foster committed to the Tide when he was playing for former Dougherty High coach Charles Flowers at Troup High in LaGrange two years ago.

When Flowers was fired at Troup, Foster transferred to Auburn High and committed to the Auburn University last summer.

Foster de-committed from Auburn when the Tigers fired assistant coach Trooper Taylor.

Foster is considered the top linebacker in Georgia and one of the top in the nation.
