If you are looking for a place to learn more about black history, the Columbus Black History Museum and Archives is a great place to interact with history.

The museum features the many contributions of African Americans to Columbus's heritage.

There are several exhibits and items showing the history of slavery and information about famous African Americans from our area.

Clarissa Leonard, secretary of the Black History Museum, says the museum is a place for everyone.

The Columbus Black History Museum and Archives is located at 315 8th Street if you would like to stop by and take a peek into the history of African Americans.
