No more Furlough Days?
For the first time in several years the Muscogee County School District is looking into doing away with work adjustment for Furlough Days. News Leader 9's Curtis McCloud was at the meeting tonight, and will explain why the board is searching their pockets to put teachers in the classroom for more days.
Crime rates down in 2012
Muscogee County crime numbers for 2012 are trending in the right direction – they're down 7 percent from 2011. We'll hear from Mayor Teresa Tomlinson about what the city plans to do to keep those numbers down.
