Port Allen's new mayor is making some changes among the city's rank and file.
Mayor Deedee Slaughter fired the Chief Financial Officer Audrey McCain Monday.
Slaughter tells 9News she fired McCain after reviewing the city's financial records.
McCain's termination comes a month after an audit into the city's accounting practices.
