AUGUSTA, Ga. - Taren White was named the Peach Belt Conference Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.
White had one of the best games ever by a Lady Cougar basketball player on Saturday against North Georgia in Dahlonega. White scored 38 points in 29 minutes of action leading the Lady Cougars to a crucial 84-75 victory over North Georgia. The 38 points are the second most ever by a CSU player in a single-game as the sophomore came up just one point shy of tying Que Gilliam's record.
