Help is on the way for women in our area who are having difficulty advancing in their careers.

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers is one of 45 Goodwill agencies across the country taking part in an innovative program that provides job training and placement services to women.

This program is known as "Beyond Jobs" and is funded through a $7.7 million grant from the Wal-Mart Foundation.

The program offers job training, placement and family financial support services.
