Columbus student arrested for terroristic threats

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

A 17-year-old Academic Success student has been arrested for terroristic threats following reports of comments made on social media. 

Columbus Police and MCSD security officers are aware of the postings and have taken a proactive approach to protect students and staff. Authorities say students and staff are safe.

Classes will be in session on Thursday, February 14. The MCSD commends students, parents, and staff for all reports of potential threats as safety is priority.
