Exclusive Preview of News at 5 & 6

Hey there! This is Jason Dennis, in the WTVM newsroom. Here's a quick look at what we are working on for the news at 5 and 6:

Russell County officials have now made an arrest for this week's double homicide. We've learned more about a connection between the suspect and one of the victims, along with a possible motive.

It was a scary afternoon for a Phenix City neighborhood when an out-of-control fire threatened to set off a propane tank and left some animals dead in a chicken farmer's shed. We have EXCLUSIVE pictures and interviews with people who were first on the scene.

And we're back with our first "Weather Radio Wednesday" of the season. WTVM chief meteorologist Derek Kinkade will join us LIVE at a store in Columbus, where our team is programming weather radios for free today.

Tell your friends, then join us for these stories and more tonight at 5 and 6!

See ya then,

Jason Dennis
