COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

This Thursday kicks off the first "Pets of the Day" segment for the morning show. We will show four adoptable pets each Thursday morning from Columbus Animal Care and Control. Here are just a few of the pets available for adoption.

Tag 390 is a male Domestic Short Hair cat. He's curious and loves to explore, but also enjoys spending time with people.

Tag 200 is a female Domestic Short Hair cat. This calm girl is sure to be a fantastic pet with her kind-hearted and gentle disposition.

Tag 239 is a female Dachshund who is looking for a loving family to join. She is sweet-natured and docile with a great temperament. This girl will be an excellent pet for any home.

Tag 313 is a male Terrier. He is an affectionate and easy-going guy, ready to share the rest of his life with you.
