GLENDALE, AZ (CBS5) -
Classes at a Glendale charter school were canceled Friday after thieves stole copper pipes that left the school without running water.
The thieves targeted water valves at Desert Heights Charter School, according to Tracy Breeden of the Glendale Police Department. Police went to the school about 7 a.m. Friday.
A person in the school principal's office confirmed the canceled classes and said employees were going home.
No other information was immediately available.
