PHOENIX (AP) -
A woman who reportedly required medical treatment while hiking up Piestewa Peak in Phoenix Friday morning has been lifted off the mountain by a Fire Department helicopter.
Fire Capt. Jonathan Jacobs says the woman was lifted off the mountain by the helicopter's hoist because of the steep and rugged terrain.
Jacobs says the woman is being treated and is in stable condition.
