TUCSON, AZ (CBS5) -

Border agents nabbed two women in a shuttle van who were trying to smuggle bags of meth in buckets of chicken.

Customs and Border Protection said the women were arrested at the Interstate 19 checkpoint after Nogales Border Patrol agents discovered six bags of methamphetamine concealed in two buckets of chicken.

The drugs weighed nearly six pounds and are valued at $58,700.

CBP said the women faces federal prosecution.
