Columbus, Albany, Dothan face air traffic control closures

Posted: Updated:
COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

If Congress does not act by March 1, automatic spending cuts will kick in – cuts that will hurt your wallet and everyday life.

That means about 10% fewer TSA agents on the job and fewer air traffic controllers.

Columbus and Albany, GA and Dothan, AL could see air traffic control stations closed due to cuts.

Congress is in session this week. President Obama says he will continue to put pressure on lawmakers to get the deal done.
