HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Funeral arrangements have been made for a mother and son who were found dead in their South Huntsville home over the weekend.

Services for Krista and Zachary Stone will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Dothan First Assembly of God Church. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5-7 p.m. Thursday.

Flowers are being accepted or memorials may be made to Philip Cameron Ministries P.O. Box 241241, Montgomery, AL 36124.

Mountain Gap Elementary School students and their parents banded together Tuesday night to remember Krista Stone and her son, Zachary.

Zachary was a first grader at the Huntsville school.

Administrators brought in counselors this week as parents are still trying to come to grips with what happened.

In addition to Zachary's classmates, the Stone's church family was also invited.

The group shared a prayer as emotions flowed.

Pastor Matt Tidmore said he has seen a steady flow of people come to him seeking help since the murders.

Huntsville Police were called to the family's home on Chicamauga Trail for a welfare check Sunday morning and found the bodies of the 32-year-old mother and her 7-year-old son.

Police said Krista's husband, Stephen "Marc" Stone, had turned himself in at the Leeds Police Department. He was transferred to the Madison County Jail where he is being held without bond on two counts of capital murder.

The couple has two other young children. They are in the care of their grandparents.

Investigators are still working to uncover a motive in the case.
