PHOENIX (AP) -

Sentencing for the former head of the Fiesta Bowl has again been delayed as he continues to cooperate in a state criminal investigation.

Former bowl Chief Executive Officer John Junker pleaded guilty to state and federal charges early last year. He admitted being involved in an illegal campaign-contribution scheme and agreed to cooperate with prosecutors in the case.

Federal court records show Junker's federal sentencing has been moved from this week to June 24. Defense lawyer Stephen Dichter said Tuesday his client's state sentencing will also be delayed from April 24 to a date following the federal sentencing.

Junker was fired in March 2011 for leading a conspiracy where bowl employees were reimbursed for political-campaign donations. Investigations into former bowl lobbyist Gary Husk continue. He has denied wrongdoing.
