FLAGSTAFF, AZ (CBS5/AP) -

Federal authorities say a woman wanted in connection with an armed robbery last month in Washington state has been arrested in northern Arizona.

U.S. Marshals Service officials announced Tuesday that Jennifer Marie Brady was taken into custody at a Cottonwood motel.

An arrest warrant was issued for Brady after she failed to appear in court in Port Angeles, WA.

The Clallam County Sheriff's Office says Brady was arrested after allegedly luring a male acquaintance to a Washington state hotel room where her accomplices robbed him of his valuables and vehicle on Jan. 8.

They say Brady was released on bond, pending further court appearances. When she failed to appear, the Clallam County sheriff requested the assistance of U.S. Marshals in locating and arresting Brady.

Deputy U.S. marshals developed information that, just before she fled, Brady had made statements to a friend indicating she was going to head "south" and that she could not "go to jail."

U.S. marshals tracked Brady to Arizona and discovered she was staying at a resort in Sedona for several nights.

Deputy U.S. marshals in Washington contacted the U.S. Marshals' Arizona WANTED Violent Offender Task Force with the information. The task force arrested Brady at a motel in Cottonwood in cooperation with the Cottonwood Police Department.
