Pintlala Teacher a Class Act

For Amy Moseley, there wasn't much question, she wanted to be a teacher since she was a little girl.   And Pintlala Elementary School seems like the perfect fit for this first grade teacher.   "I really do enjoy kids, so this is a rewarding job," Moseley said.  "First graders are so eager to learn and they are excited about school."

Ms. Moseley has been in the classroom for 18 years and spent the last 12 years at Pintlala Elementary School.   For her, this place is home.   "It's convenient for me because I live out here, I know the kids and their parents and go to the church with them, so it's pretty easy to relate to them."

It's been a good year for Ms. Moseley.  She was recently named the school's teacher of the year.  But for her, it's all about her students.   "They still like their teacher and everyday it seems like they are excited to be here."

She makes the classroom an exciting place for them.  Congratulations to Ms. Amy Moseley from Pintlala Elementary School in Montgomery County, this week's Class Act.
