A random shooting happened during a neighborhood barbeque February 24, 2013 at Victory Trailer Park off Cusseta Road in Columbus.
Police say a suspect wearing an all black jumpsuit and a black ski mask fired at least 16 shots into a crowd of people.
"Police responded to a call about a possible shooting. There was a cookout going on at Victory Trailer Park and the call came in that time, "says Corporal Deborah Whitley with the Columbus Police Department.
Witnesses say one victim was shot in the leg during that shooting and was taken to a local hospital. Witnesses also told police two male suspects were shooting at each other near the entrance of the trailer park, endangering the lives of everyone in that area.
"We need to find these people and get them off the streets. They're dangerous and a lot of other people could have been shot and killed, "says Whitley.
If you know anything about this crime police are asking for your help. Give them a call and possible stop something like this from happening again.
"We're asking for any additional information that we can get to Crime Stoppers a reward will be paid for information upon an arrest or indictment," Whitley told News Leader 9.
