ALBANY, GA (WTVM) - An Albany man was lucky enough to win $60,000 twice in one day – for a total of $120,000 – playing the Georgia Lottery's KENO.
Johnny Holt, 63, played a KENO! drawing and won a $60,000 prize.
While claiming his prize recently at the Georgia Lottery District Office in Tifton, Holt discovered that he had a second ticket with the same combination, winning another $60,000 prize.
"I was just shouting all over the place," said Holt, who owns a mechanic shop. "I bought the same ticket twice accidentally."
Fairway Store #0001, 520 S. Slappey Blvd. in Albany, sold Holt the same eight-spot KENO! ticket plus the multiplier option for $2 a ticket.
The grandfather of five is overjoyed.
"It feels wonderful," Holt shared.
