Exclusive Preview of News at 5 & 6

Good evening! This is Jason Dennis in the WTVM newsroom. Here's what we are working on for the news at 5 and 6...

It's being called the biggest blaze in Opelika history. The fire, which started last night, is still burning at the old West Point Pepperell Mill. We have LIVE team coverage with the latest on a cause, reaction from residents, and a history of mill fires in our area.

There's a new Pope for the Catholic church, signified this afternoon by white smoke billowing out of the Sistine Chapel in Rome. Find out who is stepping up into the position, where he's from, and what name he's chosen as Pope.

We'll also take a closer look into a fight over legal fees paid by a local school district. On the heels of a heated debate at last night's meeting, the Columbus attorney, who accuses the Muscogee Co. school board of shelling out too much cash, sits down with us today. And the superintendent responds!

Tell your friends, then join us for these stories and more tonight at 5 and 6!

See ya then,

 Jason Dennis
