SYLVESTER, GA (WALB) -

Worth County Rams defensive standout Marlin Hall is eager to head to the Sunshine State to help kick start a new college football program.

In front of Worth Co. classmates and teammates Thursday, Hall signed a letter of intent to play for Stetson University in Deland, FL.

The Hatters will play their first football game in over five decades this fall.

Hall says he's looking forward to making his mark on the young program.

"I feel like I can go down there and make a difference right away," he says. "I feel like there's something special down there, and we're going to have something special in the coming years."

The Hatters will play in the Football Championship Subdivision's Pioneer League.
