COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

Disney On Ice sponsored Chattahoochee Valley Libraries' first ever "Books for Babies" drive held on March 3. The event was a success and more than 1,000 books were collected, which is one-fourth of their total goal.

To celebrate this success and collect a few more books for the program, Disney On Ice held a celebration with the Boys & Girls Club on Thursday March 14.

The kids brought board books to donate, took a tour of the library's state-of-the-art bookmobile, enjoyed storytime courtesy of skaters and had a meet & greet with some surprise guests!

Afterwards, they enjoyed refreshments and stayed for the show "Disney On Ice presents Worlds of Fantasy."
