TEMPE, AZ (CBS5) -
A man mistakenly crashed into a Tempe car wash Thursday afternoon.
Police said the man was getting his car detailed for a car show and was backing up to get into the car wash when he crashed into the building on East Broadway Road.
According to police, the driver said he thinks his accelerator was stuck or there was a problem with the gear shift.
Police said they don't plan to file any charges against the driver.
