ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

The Darton State baseball team keeps rolling along.

The Cavs trailed East Georgia College 6-1 early, but stormed back with 11 unanswered runs to win 12-6.

The game had its share of fireworks though, especially in the final frame.

With one out in the top of the 9th, Darton got an East Georgia baserunner in a rundown between 2nd and 3rd.

He was tagged out, but not before dropping SS Cody Wofford with a shoulder to the jaw.

Wofford stayed down several moments, and Head Coach Scot Hemmings was livid with the umpires when no ejection was called.

Even after the final out was made, Hemmings gave the umps another piece of his mind as they were leaving the field.

The two teams play a doubleheader tomorrow at Cavalier Field, starting at 1 p.m.
