PHOENIX (CBS5) -

A man who was living near a school bus stop when he was arrested for possessing child pornography was sentenced to a decade in prison Friday.

Christopher Ray Jurgens, 48, was sentenced by Superior Court Judge Dean Fink on three counts of sexual exploitation of a minor and will be on lifetime probation upon his release and will have to register as a sex offender.

Detectives from the Arizona Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force served a search warrant at Jurgens' Phoenix home near 32nd and Van Buren streets on March 21, 2013, and found child pornography, child-oriented candy and drinks, children's clothes, toys and coloring books in the house where no children lived.

Police said the intersection where Jurgens lived was a major release point for children on school buses.

Jurgens was booked into jail on 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.

A deadly virus is threatening the crawfish industry in Southwest Louisiana. It's called white spot syndrome virus and it was first discovered in Thailand, but somehow it made its way to ponds in South Louisiana and specialists are struggling to find the funds to research a solution.  “The catch was increasing and increasing and then it dropped 70% and that's when you saw the dead crawfish floating in the water,” said a crawfish farmer of 34 years, Ian Garbarino.
