BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

A man accused of two separate violent acts has been arrested by authorities.

The Baton Rouge Police Department said Keandre Duane Collins, 19, was arrested Monday by the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office.

According to BRPD, he forced a woman out of her car in her own driveway, kicked her, and then stole her laptop in January.

Investigators said earlier this month, he shot into a car. The driver was hit several times, but he's expected to recover.

He faces charges of attempted first-degree murder, illegal use of a weapon, aggravated burglary and simple robbery.
