SCOTTSDALE, AZ (CBS5) -

A new company is setting up shop in Arizona and is expected to hire hundreds of workers in the coming years.

Gov. Jan Brewer, Scottsdale Mayor Jim Lane, the Arizona Commerce Authority and the Greater Phoenix Economic Council on Tuesday announced that ZocDoc is expanding to downtown Scottsdale.

ZocDoc offers patients free resources to find doctors and book appointments instantly online.

ZocDoc plans to employ more than 650 area residents in the next three years and to hire 66 people in the Phoenix region by the end of this year.

The company currently employs more than 400 people worldwide.

The Phoenix area office will be the company's second U.S. office and third office location worldwide.
