(WTVM) -

Seven of the eight animals we showcased last week from Columbus Animal Care and Control were rescued, but one is still available.  All of the pets at Animal Control wake each day to wonder if they'll be rescued, or if their time is coming to an end too soon. Here's a look at today's pets that deserve the stability and love of a forever home.

Tag 368, also known as "Harley," is a neutered Domestic Short Haired male with a big personality. He's playful and spirited, but also loves a good scratch behind the ears.

Tag 371 is an inquisitive male Domestic Short Haired cat. He enjoys spending time with people and other animals, but really loves to explore. He will make an excellent family pet.

Tag 282 is a female Terrier that is the perfect rescue lap-dog. She is fully grown and loves to be around people. She's a wonderful companion for any loving home, and she's very photogenic!

Tag 248 is a female Shepherd. She is kind-hearted and docile, but forever loyal and obedient. She is a fantastic pet for anyone looking to save the life of a deserving animal.

For more information on how you can help these animals, call Animal Control at (706) 653-4512, or visit them at 4910 Milgen Road.
