The principal of a high school in Mobile says the halls have been quieter this week since nearly 100 students were suspended over dress code violations.

Alvin Dailey, principal of LeFlore Magnet High School says two-day suspensions began Monday for students who violated the school's dress code.

Dailey tells WKRG-TV (http://bit.ly/170Wp8f) he's had enough of students leaving their shirt tails out or boys sagging their pants so to rest below their waists.

Dailey says he hopes the drastic measures taught the students a lifelong lesson about being held accountable for their actions.

Students were allowed to return to class Thursday.
