Opelika double stabbing suspects captured

OPELIKA, AL (WTVM) -

Opelika police have arrested the two men believed to be responsible for the double stabbing over the weekend that left one dead and another injured.

On April 1 at approximately 12:01 p.m., 24-year-old Kadarrious Douglas Beasley of Auburn and his twin brother Kentarious Douglas Beasley were arrested and taken into custody without incident at Ridgecrest Apartments in Auburn.

They were apprehended by Officers of the Opelika Police Department, the Auburn Police Department, and Agents of the State of Alabama Probation & Parole Division.

They were transported to the Opelika Police Department for questioning and will later be transported to the Lee County Detention Facility.

Both will be charged with one count of murder and one count of attempted murder.
