Boy, 4, killed in Ala shooting

PRICHARD, Ala. (AP) - Police are questioning witnesses after a 4-year-old boy reportedly shot himself to death in Prichard.

Authorities say Roderick Paige of Mobile was pronounced dead at USA Children's and Women's Hospital after his parents rushed him there on Easter afternoon.

Hospital officials notified police, who began an investigation.

The child and his family had just left Easter services at church and were visiting relatives when the boy reportedly shot himself in the chest accidentally.

Officers were questioning the child's relatives about the shooting on Monday.
