LEE COUNTY, AL (WTVM) -

Two Lee County teens have been arrested and face burglary and theft charges after a homeowner surprised one teen as he walked out the homeowners' front door, carrying the homeowners' gun.

The two teens have been identified as 19-year old Keuntae Mapson of Opelika and 18-year old Quincy Gilmore of Auburn.

Deputies say the homeowner called 911 around 10:30 Tuesday morning when he pulled into the driveway of his Beauregard home in the 600 block of Lee Road and caught the suspects in the act.

Sheriff Jones says the suspect went back into the house and escaped through the back door.

It took a nearby deputy one minute to get to the home after the 911 call was made. A suspicious vehicle was stopped. The passenger, Quincy Gilmore was arrested and so was Keuntae Mapson.

Later that day, deputies served a search warrant on Lee Road 43, based on information from this burglary case, and recovered thousands of dollars in electronics and game systems.

The teens are suspects in numerous burglaries all over Lee County, and more arrests could be made.
