Twin stabbing suspects appear in court

LEE COUNTY, AL (WTVM) - The pre-trial hearing for twin brothers charged with murder began on August 25. Kentarious Beasley was requesting a mental evaluation before his murder trial.

His twin brother, Kadarrious, sat in the back of the courtroom.

Police say they stabbed and killed a man in Opelika and injured his brother in March.

The Beasley brothers of Auburn appeared in court in April and were formally charged with murder and attempted murder for the stabbing death of Gregory Moody and the severe stabbing of William Dowdell, who were also brothers.

Lee County Judge Hughes assigned court appointed public defenders to represent them.

So far no trial date has been set for the twin brothers.
